I have been a fan for many years growing up on Larry Bird and waiting for so many years for them to become legitimate again. Suffering through the ML Carr and Rick Pitino years was well worth it to see this current team.

The Celtics will be contending for the NBA title in the spring

I'm not a Celtics (or Pats/Sox) fan, but would love to see KG, Ray and Paul get a ring. I hope all the players and refs are classier this year, come playoffs.

I was raised on Basketball in the 80's and would love to see Celtics Lakers again in the finals.

Decent game tonight, Pistons looked terrible. Congrats to the Celtics for the game one win.

Lakers looked awful in game 1 and still won...Fisher/Odom can only improve. I look to win this series in 5 or 6.

+1 on that, overcoming a 20 pt deficit in the fourth is pretty hard core stuff.

It was a good game. I fear for you Celtics. I can't lose since I enjoy seeing any of the teams left lose. I really wanted to see the Hornets go a little farther but SA just too experienced.

the refs in these series have played too large of a part semis/finals(see LA's 4th quarter comebacks agaisnt SA & the leon powe show)......but i hate the lakers soo..........
