Paypal sent for 1 OP reflector for MRV: $28
Thanks!
Wow! Just what was needed to make the light really great. 2X18650's and the option of a orange peel reflector. Basicly a Cree Sf M4, with out the blown bulbs and runetime costs. I will definitely have to pick all this up in July. You guys make the coolest stuff!![]()

OP here in Singapore
Have one ordered from BJ...it may find a home on the forend of an AR15 carbine so I may still need to order an OP reflector...the shiny heat sinks still an issue though. I recall reading in a General Motors publication that the best heat dispursion was yielded from aluminum anodized in a violet color to a certain depth, I don't recall the specifics. I do know from harley experience that my chromed parts do not dispate heat as fast as my polished bare aluminum parts do.
Really looking forward to trying this one out.

-Yes, we'll stock the 2 x 18650 adapters as well when they become available.
More later...
Matt, sorry to be a pest, but just wondered if you happened to ship a battery tube for the MRV?!

Received the OP reflector from Ricky & Co. yesterday, hurried to drop it in... and it was fantastic. Even with this reflector this still isn't a white-wall-hunter light, but once I got it outside I was very pleased - a more floody beam which diverges to a useful hotspot at more common distances and generous spill! This is my "go-to" light to accompany my headlamp, and even more so once the 2x18650 tube is released. Good job LP!![]()
I have ordered one![]()
Hi Ricky; Can I buy the MRV with the OP reflector and not the SMO reflector? How much for the MRV with OP reflector shipped? Thanks.
Got a chance to try out the MRV (SMO reflector) at our "ranch" (weekend/future retirement place in the country) last weekend and I was pleasantly surprised. Out there, we have some large fields and the Pointer and I enjoy spotting critters at a distance (well, actually, she prefers getting close and pointing!). My traditional torch for this has been my beloved FM 2 1/2C mag, which throws way out there with a large spot, and also has a hot, bright spill. The MRV can't match it for throw, but it's not too far behind---which is really saying something for an LED light. Moreover, the smaller spot and cooler, less obtrusive spill, enabled me to pinpoint the light where I aimed it, without putting such a large amount of light all over the place. It just seemed like I was putting down a smaller footprint and not stirring everything up as much. It was a very nice, change-of-pace way of going about our business, and I really enjoyed it. I'll be taking the MRV on more field trips in the future.![]()

Received my MRV this afternoon. I do have a question, probably for Ricky.
I installed the Clickie and cleaned/lubed the threads with Nyogel. All was great. I put it down and picked it up about 3 hours later.
Now, I no longer hear the "clicking" noise that occurs when the mode changes when turing the head. I'm turning it exactly as I was previously. I've unscrewed/scrwed the body back on, still nothing.
My question is: What causes the "click"/mode change so I can check to see what the problem might be?
Best Regards,
Chris
