WTB: Titanium 2400 AA nimh batteries

Anybody have some extras laying around, that they'd sell cheap? :) I thought they use to be less than $2 each. Now they are going for $2.30 at Amondotech, before shipping. I only need ~4 of them. TIA.

You're in Manhattan, just go to your local discount electronics joint and buy some Energizer 2500 mAH cells for 4/$10 or so. They are Sanyo HR-3U which seem to be about the best cells you can get.

Because I already have a bunch of Titanium 2400's and I figured that I can mix and match better if they are all the same brand. It not a good idea to put different brands together is it?

I wouldn't mix them in multi cell configurations.... As you could damage/revrse charge a cell that doesn't have as much capacity...
