I have had an opportunity to buy direct from a wholesaler and am looking to offload some excess GID powder.

It's a brand new product, along the same lines as the strontium & zinc products you may be used to, and it performs as well as the Strontium.

It seems as though Violet charges best with UV radiation. A black light produces amazingly different (better) results when compared to a desk lamp or LED light for the same amount of exposure time. Please be aware of this.

Letters are less secure than parcel eg packaging room, damage, split bags from post machines, post office shut down due to suspect powder etc - so I am sorry but from now on I am no longer offering the letter/envelope freight option.

Hello eTendue, It is Pila here posting from home - please excuse my ignorance but I didn't know which part of Korea it was. Korea Republic is $1.20 Australian Dollars and takes about 4 to 5 work days. If it's Korea Democratic Peoples Republic it will cost the same but take 7 to 8 work days according to the web site. (http://www1.auspost.com.au/pac/int_letter_select.asp)

The 10 x Aqua quart ounce - (7 gram equivalent) bags plus envelope to Korea will cost in Australian Dollars $7.00 Airmail to Korea Republic only, all imports to Democratic People's Republic are restricted it says.

The main reason for my concern is that due to the larger size of you package, the letter may get processed through machinery and cut open, thus causing us both potential problems if it spills. It is a worst-case scenario but I'd prefer to be safe over sorry.

Parcel cost(not letter) is $7.00 Australian Dollars, making that total as: $13.80 Australian Dollars.

eTendue, freight will be cheaper now too. I got the all clear to use padded post bags and ship them as 'letters' after getting mixed messages to the post service on the phone regarding this. As a result, freight is cheaper than I thought!!

$3USD freight, $6.80 for 5 half oz bags of AQUA, I'm unsure of the exact amount of Sky Blue left but I can check and post when I get home in 4 hours or so.

So, that's nearly $10USD-including freight for the aqua, I don't think I have enough powder to fill a $30 requirement at this stage! (I will later as I reinvest in more glow powder though).

To be fair, I have difficulty telling the aqua and sky blue apart so don't expect them to be wildly different. I have a feeling they're made (and labelled) differently by having a little more of one type of compound than another - not really sure, just a guess - so they are probably going to glow a similar colour which will be more noticible if comparing them side by side. The colours are still just mesmerising to look at. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I didn't realise this until recently so I'll be selling Aqua over the Sky Blue in future as aqua is slightly cheaper to buy for a similar (but not exactly the same) glow result.

Having said that, if you would prefer to not get any of the Sky Blue because you already have the similar Aqua colour I'll understand.

I'll wait to hear from you on this and let the total stand at $9.80USD for the Aqua (including freight) unless you state otherwise.

I've never handled glowpowder so I really have no idea how much 7 grams of it is. Would it be possible to see it in relation to something else in a picture? Also, it should be mixed with something like lacquer to be applied, correct? What are the ratios for the mix?

As far as I know, 7 grams is enough powder to make a couple of bottles of nail polish into glow polish - a general rule of thumb with this stuff is a 30% ratio in the mix. 30% powder to 70% medium. Yes, you are right! Epoxy, nail polish, I haven't experimented with my own paints yet but I'd imagine they could be applied into a paint mix very easily.

One thing with the nail polish I have noticed, it tends to settle to the bottom after a few days so a good shake-up is required prior to use.

Robban - a picture is a sterling idea and I'll look into this in the next couple of days.

vcal & BLG: I have a quart ounce of sky blue for each of you but I am not going to be re-ordering the sky blue in the near future as it is very nearly the same colour as the aqua, the aqua being about half the cost! I will hold these two bags with your names on them until the enhanced sky blue arrives to be sent as one order, right?

I have ordered the enhanced sky blue x 1000grams and have requested a sample of a violet colour - will test the water with the violet as soon as it arrives.

AFAIK, the Aqua and Sky Blue have different chemical properties but their glow looks very similar to my eyes. I don't have MSDS on the Sky Blue but I do for the Aqua. The MSDS is mainly for the Australian Workplace Safety and HAZMAT areas. There is no mention of glow-times sorry.

Anyway, I'm going to be advising preference of Aqua over Sky Blue due to the price difference and glow colour comparison. Other than that, I don't think there is an obvious difference.

As I understand it you can accept payment from "normal" paypal accounts but not a CC based PayPal account. If so we could use ksbman as a middleman since he has both types of accounts set up. I pay him using my CC based PayPal, he then transfers that money to his "normal" PayPal account and then uses that to pay you.

About the charges, I'll add enough to cover those.
