One of the main reasons for having a strobe function is tactical/emergency attention getter. That being said, there should be a one handed quick switch for it.

In many flashlight there is a quick double-click switch to strobe when the head is tightened. So when the head is tightened all you have to do is double-click the button to get to strobe. This turns the flashlight into a faster one handed process. Most of the multi-function high end flashlights out there have this feature and I think if there is enough voting for it, then ArmyTek will add it to their flashlight in a V 2.0 or something.

Edit: This is to vote to add it to the options. It doesn't mean it has to be part of your set up. Just to add the option if we want it.

They won't do it, Ive asked about it before. They want to keep momentary signaling.

Please vote yes if you agree. In my experience all manufactures will change if they get a chance. If they can come up with the technology to make a strobe after double click with head tightened, then they will. We just might have to wait a while for them to come up with the technology.

Also note: this can be added to the UI as an option someone can choose to have or not to have. Just like we can choose almost whatever we want in the current UI.

I prefer when the double-click (or quick off/on switch toggle) allows changing brightness level, or accessing boost level, or (as said above) for momentary signaling.

You guys are funny. If you want the option, then vote yes. So far we only have posters who agree. Strange that the polling is the opposite.

Can a driver with a mechanical on/off switch detect a double click, compared to an electronic switch?
