Thrunite,

CPF member bigchelis tested my new V2 light the other day and it is not making what it's supposed to be. At 1000 lumens emitter rating I would figure after reflector loss, etc it would be close to 800 lumens out the front using at least 20% loss. That would have been fine with me..even at 700 lumens.

My light (which does not have any LED defects) is using the SMO reflector. It was tested on two brand new AW 18650 (2600 mah). There's nothing wrong with the setup that anyone is aware of. It drew 1.9A at the tail according to the tester.

The light tested at 600 out the front at 1 sec. After 3 minutes of being on, it was showing 565 lumens out the front.

Something is wrong here. Let's make this right and get it where it supposed to be. I love my light but not the output.

My serial number is 2010050171 and was purchased at a US dealer.

Hmmm.. has the V1 ever been tested? I've seen the V2 & V1 beamshots and it looks like the V2 is brighter.
If this is the case now then maybe even IS numbers can be wrong..?

I'm pretty positive his sphere is up to measuring spec. Mine isn't the only one making lower than spec numbers. Something is up.

We drive it to 3.5+/-0.1A. and with GJ100Bin. for first version. we use same LED-GJ100 bin. less current. I do think it should be brighter than before!
