EDIT 3/5 10:15pm - See post #5 for details on price drop
New in sealed box.....Leatherman Wave model #830792
Leather sheath, etc. -
$65 delivered (Plus usual free extra goodies - check out "cheers and jeers" for reactions to how I send more than you pay for!!!).
EDIT: As per post below, I can send this for $60 if I don't need to put it in a large box which would be required to accommodate the ridiculously over-sized packaging the tool comes in. (more details in next post).
Full money back guarantee if not 100% satisfied. (As always). Just PLEASE return all items - the "free stuff" is free only with the order. Fair??
Peace,
D.

I can sell this for $60 shipped IF I take it out of package and put the tool in it's leather case = that way I won't have to put it in a larger priority mail box - can use a small box and save half on postage. (if buyer or interested parties want I can post a photo of the tool in original packaging which is just wastefully large).
Even in a small box, (or padded envelope) I can and WILL send some extra goodies as is my "tradition" - This is a $99 (list) tool.
(if buyer wants, I can fold up packaging and send it too so they can read the list of implements in two languages)
If I don't get a quick buyer on this, I'm going to keep it for myself...it's too nice and my old Leatherman is hard to get out of my son's pocket and isn't nearly as nice as this one - in fact if I DO sell it, I'm going to have to get another one of these for myself.
Leatherman store has this model on sale for $79.85
http://www.leathermanstore.com/leatherman66.html
Swiss Knife Shop has it on sale for 10 cents more ($79.95)
http://www.swissknifeshop.com/Leatherman_Wave_p/ltwave.htm
Both sites have details and customer ratings. Didn't see anything about unconditional money back guarantee like I offer, and certainly did not see anything about extra "free bonus goodies" like I send!!!! (and even in a small package, I'll fit some really nice stuff).
Thanks for looking,
D.

I now have another one for sale...one is sort of on hold until Sat -
I got two more today - I'm actually keeping one for myself - my first indulgence since I started selling everything I have for need of money .
EDIT: Well, since I decided to keep one for myself, I cut open the clamshell package and have been playing with it. It is definitely a nice improvement over the older version (that my son "liberated")
The pivots are larger and now have brass bushings so lubrication should be less of a worry, the locking safeties are better - have a more positive feel, the Torx screws that hold the thing together are now standard sizes if you ever need or want to tighten them (or loosen, whatever) while the older model had a proprietary size that couldn't be adjusted by the owner - which reminds me, the entire tool just seems to be tighter (not in the way it's harder to open the tools...easy to open the knife with one hand for example)
- I mean there's no "wobble" which the older one had even when new (not much, but it was there).
The handle feels more comfortable, and even a bit more "grippy" due to the indentations of the metric and english "rulers" cut into the handle.... and I noticed that the knife (both in fact...serated and plain) are more even with the bottom of the handle which is a nice touch.
Configuration of the pliers is different and feels like it's got more leverage. Wire cutter is noticeably longer and strong wire cutter seems to have more leverage - should easily cut through a finishing nail. maybe even thicker stuff (haven't tried it).
Oh yeah, and the screwdriver bits are removeable (reverses to phillips or regular - both sizes). This is a good thing to me over the fixed ends since the tips are made of a stronger material than the rest of the stainless tool...There's also an optional kit with a bunch of different size and types of bits that will fit in this tool. (not sure what the kit has).
Overall, a nice improvement. Hope I can afford to keep it! LOL
Thanks for looking,
D.

EDIT 3/5 10:15pm - See post #4 for detail on price drop
This is post #4.... :poke:
Is this CPF Priceline.... name my own price drop?:naughty:
Seriously though, if this is the latest model of the Wave, you keep and throw away the clam shell packaging for me, and depending on what the mystery price drop is:broke:, I'm interested.

LOL...yeah, I guess I was a bit premature in post #1 - Plus I wrote way too much, took a picture, got sidetracked, hungry, etc.... So make it Post #5 :D -(I'll change it in #1).
So.....as I was saying:;)
I have these brand new Leatherman Wave multi tools. All information (including my own mini-review in above post) is already given in this thread.
I had originally priced them at $65 shipped.
Then I decided to offer them for $60 shipped if I could send them without the clam-shell packaging which requires a medium size flat rate box that costs more than twice the amount of a small flat rate box - I left it as a choice to buyers.
I got these tools from a different source than the lights and batteries I've sold here. So far it has not been a pleasant experience, so I just want to move them and be done with it ASAP.
- no need to go into further details.... "pleasant" and "less than pleasant" are clear enough.
Bottom line is I will sell these for $50 delivered!!!!
But FOR THAT PRICE - they have to be OUT of the clamshell packaging. I'll still be able to throw in the usual extra "Cracker Jack Surprise" type free goodies like I always do, but the shipping costs have been killing me on everything I've sold. I'm going to have to either charge for shipping or cut back on the extras or raise prices. Or lose money.
On this particular deal, I will lose money, but at this point it's worth it to me.
Easiest way is to cut my cost is to cut down on the postage. Easiest way to do that is easy...when possible, just get rid of the ridiculously oversized clamshell packaging on items like this.
As I've said...I understand that some people just feel better when they receive stuff sealed...it's clearly new, etc. And if it's worth an extra $15 for that feeling on this item, it's still available for $65.
But I've also said that I will refund 100% on any item I sell here - no questions asked. Which essentially means I've been (and am) willing to buy back what I sent sealed after it's no longer sealed. To me, new is new. If something comes in a nice box, yes, that's one thing and as a buyer, I'd want it in a nice new box too. But to spend an extra $10 or more on shipping to accomodate a useless piece of plastic seems absurd.
THESE ARE BRAND NEW - there's no nice box, there's not even an instruction manual (not that one is needed). Just graphics on on the front and a list of the tools on the back. If anyone has trouble distinguishing a knife from a screwdriver, just PM me and I'll give explicit instructions - LOL
So that's the deal...I had said originally that I would sell these for $65 delivered (in clamshell packaging). Then I said I'd sell them WITHOUT the packaging for $60.
So now. just to be done with the unpleasantness of owing my "supplier", I'll lower the price to $50 without the packaging (and still- if anyone wants the piece of cardboard that lists the 17 or 18 tools in two languages, I can fold that up and include it - no problem).
I'm going to leave the packaged price at $65 - which is still a great price and a mistake to me....always was, I either payed too much or am asking too little, but what is done is done.
So my objective is to just move these as fast as possible and not need to deal any longer than necessary with the BS I've been subjected to, I'll send them in their leather sheaths for just $50 - which is a losing proposition for me.
Sometimes it's just better to bite the bullet than to be hassled - it's worth losing a few dollars to me to stop getting a barrage of phone calls. And I'm still going to have postage, and still going to make everyone happy with a free gift or two - And I readily admit that I DO get that stuff at ridiculously low prices, so everyone is happy. Some of it is even free samples....good to have a cousin in the business. Works for me, works for you guys.
And sadly, though I REALLY want to keep one of these for myself, now is not the time....I just struggling now to keep my head above water, so I'm going to have to sell all three - Obviously there's no $65 option on the one I opened and raved about in the prior post. And no, I'm not considering it "used" just because I played with it for 10 minutes.
Thanks for looking. Wish I could just give these back and and call it a day, but that wasn't the deal. And I always keep my word (probably why I didn't get rich after 25 years on Wall Street like everyone else seems to have done - Not the business for people who keep their word or don't have a problem with outright lying. (I could write a book, but it's been done a million times).
Just in case anyone doubts that these are indeed brand new in sealed boxes (for now), here's a photo with today's date, the Leatherman tools in their clamshell packs (front -shows tool, back - shows sheath & list of tools and a paragraph about how great the company is) ......and a small size USPS flat rate box on the left, which is obviously too small to accommodate the things with the packaging, but clearly more than big enough to hold the one in it's sheath right up against the box..... PLUS my usual trademark "surprise extra goodies" - (Cracker Jack Box Surprises) ;);)
I really don't like to hard sell....I'll admit I can certainly get enthusiastic about a product that I think is superior or worth more than it would seem to be ......see "for sale" thread on the Coast "tactical weapon light" for an example - I'm amazed that only one of the two have sold with a money back guarantee
But I'll "hard sell" these...BUY THEM!!!!! LOL
On this ONE DEAL I need fast payment. I'm waiting for money orders on a couple of lights and a multi meter, but these go to the first three PayPal takers (or anyone willing to meet me with cash between classes at FAU tomorrow in Boca Raton) :) ... if still available, which I'm hoping isn't the case.
THIS IS REALLY TOO GOOD A DEAL TO PASS UP!!!! - Buy it today and sell it next week right here or on Ebay for a quick $20 profit :naughty::naughty::naughty: (don't be a chump like me..charge for shipping)..:o
Peace,
D.

Hey guys, I don't know what the shipping costs will be and I can't find out without going to the post office, which I cannot do until Monday - If they are available then, I'll let you know. If the two I have left are sold by then and everything goes smoothly, I'll have a talk with the guy who I got them from. So far he's made it a real hassle for me (keeps calling me to see if I sold them and have his money) - and at the price he's charging me, I'm losing money on them. Just want to sell them to get him off my back.
So if we can work out a better deal, and an understanding that he has to cut me some slack, I'll get them for you (if postage is not completely ridiculous). But as I said, I'm losing money on these three, so I'd either have to charge a little more or get them for less.
I'll keep you both posted.
Jrick CZ....I have a CZ .17 HM2 "American"....my most accurate rifle! You guys make some nice stuff over there. I spent three times as much (maybe more) building a target .22 from a cheap Ruger 10/22 and it took me months to do it and get it just right......and after all that the CZ was still more accurate right out of the box (I just got a trigger kit to lower the pull to 11 ounces....sweet..but only for target shooting, worthless for hunting, but since I don't hunt...well...

Thanks Dilbert...paypal received.
I wonder if the CSI guys could tell which one was "used" - LOL But if it makes you happy I'll put on some surgical gloves to take one out of the plastic so there won't be any fingerprints, DNA, blood, sweat or tears on the one I send you.:):):):)
Still leaves two left...C'mon guys, step up...these are beauties and I have really nice surprise "bonus" stuff to throw in! (as always). And want badly to clear up my "account" with the guy I got them from.
Best,

Hey guys, I don't know what the shipping costs will be and I can't find out without going to the post office...
You can calculate the shipping cost online. Here are shipping options to the czech republic (http://ircalc.usps.gov/IntlMailServices.aspx?Country=10086&M=11&P=1&O=0&sd=1) for 1 pound weight. You can send the knife with leather sheath as "Priority MailŪ International Flat-Rate Envelope" for 13 bucks. I'm offering you 68USD for knife in sheath and shipping. Do we have a deal? :D

OK, we have a deal if you can use PayPal. (Don't want to wait a week or so for a money order - as I said I want to be able to square up with the guy I got them from as soon as possible.
I'll PM you my paypal address.
Reason I mentioned the rifle was I thought you had an interest because CZ is the brand name...guess it means more than that over there.

LOL....you guys are good! And FAST!
And I'm SLOW - I'm so used to thinking of overseas as Bankok time, because I used to go there twice a year and Hawaii time, 'cause my son was stationed at Pearl Harbor - so I was thinking it was 4am - not 9pm or 10pm.
Now that the guy that's been hassling me for the money knows the things are sold, what did he do? He stopped by to ask me when he'd have it (I told him about 2 months....LOL...should have seen the look on his face). And then he handed me a Leatherman SURGE - thing is BIG - if anyone is interested, I'll start another thread.
Meanwhile I have three WAVES to get in the mail tomorrrow!!!
Thanks again....(I can't believe I got involved with this same guy again...hopefully he'll be better this time around - I told him I'd really probably be able to get the money in 3 business days).
