Thanks for the orders so far everyone. I'm sorry but I've changed my mind about just giving glockboy just two batteries - I've decided to give him four batteries instead and to give the next few people some also. After glockboy, I'm going to give out another 10 Energizer AA lithiums and 10 Surefire CR123s (2 for each member who orders, until they are gone). When 10 of either run out the remaining orders will be filled with whatever is left. So, divine, stienke and habibi, let me know which type of battery you want and I'll include 2 with your order. These will be brand new, never used batteries.

Also, whoever can use a couple new Maglite 2 C or D cell bulbs, let me know. I will give two members who order 2 bulbs each.

P.S. The energizers will be from a bulk box, not from retail packaging.

AlexGT, thanks for the suggestion. I've mentioned to Keith that it would be cool if some of the bezels and tailcaps came in chrome. It is certainly something I'd like to pursue. If there is enough interest that would help move it along.

I can see where this thread may become messy with some members posting orders and others posting ideas so I just made a separate thread on CPF just for ideas/suggestions for new products. I have some good news, the black bezels, black XCapeCaps, Clear XCapeCaps, Raw Bezels, and Raw TCapeCaps should be available to ship by this Saturday. Not-as-good news is that the Blue and Red Bezels and Caps won't be able to be shipped until next week.

Please also note in my first post that the Raw XCapeCaps should not be anodized due to the process of installing the Tungsten Carbide insert (it must be done before the anodizing process). They can still be installed raw or polished though.

Important Note: The HA bezels have a thick HA coating and will be relatively tight when screwed on. This is normal and not a defect. Be sure the bezel is on straight and it will screw on easily at first and then will get tighter...the bezel will need to be fit in by using a little oil and turned a few times. The bezel and Mag head threads will need to be cleaned up. The bezel will then fit tightly but will screw on all the way.

The type II bezels will also be a little tight but not as much as the black ones since the HA is thicker on the black. The raw bezels will screw on securely, but will not be as tight when installing as the HA.

Be careful when you screw them on, the edges of the crenellations are sharp.

The style of this first batch will not cover an aspheric lens. We may have something in the future though. I can get the measurments later tonight but I know its not tall enough to cover the aspheric.

You are right, that wont cover my lens. The lens is 28mm tall from the bottom. Its a tad on the large size. I will wait for your possible future bezel. Thanks for looking up the specs!

Just a side note, since you might be building an aspheric friendly bezel. On my standard mag bezel, the lip that normally holds in the lens is a tad too big. The lens doesn't seat correctly because the lip prevents the lens from inserting all the way. You might make that lip thinner so the lens will seat correctly. Just a thought...

Mine arrived today, it's a very nice product. The black bezel did not require much extra effort, but being aware of the danger probably helped. The corners are pretty sharp.

Hi all, I just found out that the anodizer probably won't have the red and blue bezels and D-Cell XCapecaps in my hands until 11/14. I apologize for the delays but we are aiming for as perfect a color match to the original Mag parts as possible. If anyone wants to withdraw, I completely understand.

Due to this delay, I will be offering the free US/reduced international shipping until the Red/Blue parts come in, if not longer, ETA 11/14
