The subject line says it all.
I posted a WTB, and found what I was looking for, so I no longer "WTB".
How do I edit the thread title to indicate that I am no longer looking?
Selecting "Edit message" on the first post in the thread (the one I started indicating I needed a legacy CD-ROM drive) does no good, and selecting the "Thread Tools" option does not present me with any choises either.

Click the edit button then the go advanced button. You should then be able to edit your title for a set time limit from the originating thread time.

that makes sense now...i tried editing the title on my stunner thread and it wouldnt take ,only changed the title as you click inside and see first post title ...i thought i had some spyware infection or something ...since i sold the stunner i still have the charger and batts inside but the title shown in forum people would overlook it as they mainly see STUNNER and not Maha charger and CTA nimh

Your thread title has been updated just as it reads in the thread itself.

I believe you can edit a thread title up to 100,000 minutes (= ~69 days = 10 weeks, lol) from when you first posted it. The guy who wrote the vBulletin software must have enjoyed specifying that as the cut-off time - talk about random, lol.
After 100,000 minutes, you have to ask a mod to edit it for you.
