CPF is slooooow this morning (July 14th)

It seems to take an age for pages to come up this morning in CPF - and sometimes I am getting "database error". CPFMP is working normally. Are others getting the same?

Same here bud, the Market Place seems to sort of work properly at this moment, the CPF main site is a nightmare...more DB errors than you can shake a stick at...I believe that it has something to do with this thread by Sasha...

Over the next couple of days or so, there is going to be quite a bit of "restructuring" going on. This is going to include moving forums to new categories, breaking up forums into sub-forums, breaking apart multi-topic forums into seperate forums, creating new forums and doing away with some forums. No individual threads or posts will be tossed out. They will simply be relocated to their new home.

Please bear with me through this and have patience. I think everyone is going to be happy with the new structure. It has taken quite alot of collaboration on the part of the Administrators and Modertors and I believe that they have done a fantastic job in considering and accomodating everyone in a practical, logical and more "stream-lined" structure.

Yes.... very frustrating!
The Marketplace seems to be working better than CPF.

Yes, I saw that - IIRC it was a day or two ago and there have already been quite a few changes (new sub-forums etc) since then. But from what I've seen they have happened quite seamlessly until now, with no break in service.

Edit: I just looked - the twin thread to this one finally came up on CPF. It took ~5 mins.

Now seems to be fixed - CPF working at normal speed again.
