In my forum I'm currently the only one allowed to start posts. Is there some way to allow all members to post there?

I was wondering why after the split there was no activity in my forum.

Wayne

PS. While I'm a ticket holder i can't create a new post. :mecry:

That's how it's set up right now for the Manufacturer's section. Sasha might be able to help you.

Wayne.... see if you can start a new thread now... it should be ok.

And you may want to read THIS (http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/announcement.php?f=12). It is the Posting Policies of the Manufacturer's Corner. It is posted in an Announcement thread at the top of the thread index page in the Manufacturer's Corner forum.

Yes, I can start a post now. I do understand the policy, but, it seems counter intuitive from before where anyone could post. Now it seems customer support will be in a different location and isolated from announcements.

I hear there is rumor there will be corrective changes coming up.

Can I suggest in the interim you open the permissions (at least for the Sandwich Shoppe) to all so it can be restored to pre-split status.

Customers need to post in the same area, share ideas, thoughts, problems. Splitting this into two sections only makes it more difficult to find, help or support those that are looking for specific information.

Thanks.

The permissions were "restored" last week. I posted and made sticky a thread in the Manufacturer's Corner titled "Read the Forum Policies"... here (http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/showthread.php?t=167090). The new forum policies outline the permissions of the forums. I don't know what more I can do to let people know what is going on. I can't take people by the ear and force them to pay attention... I'm not their mother... :ironic:
