Might be what I'm looking for. :goodjob:
But I'm slightly confused...
what exactly do we get? Just the cradle /w the jack as seen in the second picture? Or do we get what's in the third picture too? I assume by AC power cable you mean the same generic 2-pin female power cable that many other various electronics, like my PS2, uses?
Also, I'm just confirming that this charger shuts off completely at 4.2V? I don't want the battery protection circuits to be doing the shutoff, don't want trickle; I want the charger to shut off with the battery PCB as a secondary line of defense.
Sorry if I come off as pushy or rude, not intended. But these AW C LiIons are not mere playthings and an accident with one would be a significant incident. I don't want youall reading on BBC about me blowing my home up.

Thanks

Third picture minus C-cell. :) Read the title, please.

Yes, completely auto shut off at 4.2V.

Warren,
Why don't you sell the package with the power cord (at additional price) to keep things simple.

Ditto. This charger is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I want a 2C ROP more than anything but was holding of until a charger like this was created.

Am I to assume that this charger will only charge single cells packs?
In other words it could charge two cells in parallel but not two cells in series?

Ok, I have a couple of questions before I order.
"Price :

I will be using this in the U.S, will I need a 220v->110v plug adapter? I don't really know what that is so I want to make sure first before ordering.
I would also be using these cells in a 2C ROP HI, would it be alright for me to charge 1 cell and when it is done charge the other one and then when both of them are finished put them in? I was wondering since all of my other chargers charge both cells at the same time so they go into the light with the same voltage and one of them doesn't get a much longer cool down period (like it would using this charger and charger two cells one after the other).
Thanks

The specs state "- VAC : 100 to 250". I read this as input voltage range.
To use the supplied cord, you would need an adapter. It looks like you could use a standard polarized 110 VAC cord to power the charger. That's why I wanted to see a pic of the power inlet socket.
OKie, I will ship free this adapter for members in CONUS.....
Alright, great! All the needed items are included now, right?
You still haven't answered my question above though.

You can top up the first-charged cell after you charge the second one. That should go quickly, and the second one will not cool down for long.

Great! For some stupid reason I didn't really think of that. Is that what you (everyone else) is doing?
I'm about to buy one of these but am waiting for Litemania to respond and make sure EVERYTHING is included to charge a C cell li Ion in the U.S.

Li-ons hardly even 'cool off' much voltage in months, much less a few hours. Even if they were charged the same time, different batts often come out at slightly diff voltages.
I've mentioned this many times before.. some people expect their 4.18v charged li-ons to cool off in a couple of days to 4v so that they can use 2 of 'em in an 8v max application; not gonna happen.

How much capacity would you lose if you only charged them to 4 volts?4.0v = 80% of full (4.2v) capacity.
With a different cradle, this would be quite a good charger for a single 18650 - at 1.5A, ~0.7C (if 1.2A actual, 0.55C). Or you could do 2 x 18650s in parallel at ~0.35C, not as good but about the same rate as from a Pila charger for example. I'll be interested to hear how people get on with this, and how accurate the termination voltage is.

Hi Warren,
What power frequency range does the charger accept? 50~60Hz?
Will it detect overdischarged Cells? (Not supposed to happen, but could with a low current application) If it detects overdischarged cells, will it bring them back to spec. and charge them?
Thanks,
Xiorcal

From AWs sales thread:
The optimal charging rate of these C cells is 2.0 - 2.5A. You can use RC type chargers such as Triton, ICE, etc. for fast and reliable charging
Will that be a problem with this charger ( - Charging Current (A) : 1.50A (Actual 1.2A))?
