I sent him money for a M-7 six weeks ago, he cashed my check and kept the money.
I called him after I waited three weeks and did not receive the M-7. He told me it would be at least two more weeks, I cancelled the order and told him to return my money. Several e-mails, and phone calls no response. Now if you call his number your get a machine. He has not returned my money!!! Rip-off, bad business you bet.

Why is it that most of the comments I've heard about this company have been negative? Thanks for the heads up Byron. After his posts in here a few weeks back, I made a mental note to not buy any of these flashlights ever. And I'll pretty much buy any peice of crap someone puts in front of me.....so that's really saying something.

This is scary... images/icons/shocked.gif

I didn't get my M5 yet either... ordered it 4 weeks ago.

Mr Goncz replied that my order information were lost. I got an e-mail that I will get a M3 as compensation for free along with the M5. images/icons/confused.gif

Keeping my fingers crossed...

I continue to be thankful that I missed a letter in his email address when I tried to email John Goncz money for two battery packs.

Byron, I'm truly sorry to hear that your outcome has devolved into what we feared it might.

I have been following some of the posts about Mr Goncz and his flashlights. The man has talent, but he's also his own worst enemy. Mr Goncz had the opportunity to advertise and introduce his high-end product here, to the best pre-qualified group of potential customers, FOR FREE! Obviously Mr Goncz does not understand the value of that, because he took the opportunity and threw it away. Max

I find it real interesting that Goncz has not posted lately to address everyones concerns. If you recall he was a frequent poster as he was getting the lights off the ground.

So, Mr. Goncz...What say you?

I posted My statement at the other subject, but in short Byron You statement is incorect and put the facts on the table:

You approached us, that you would like to buy the light, but you have no money because you working as a security guard at College. So we felt sorry for you and asked you how much can you spend? ...about $100.00 and the rest in 2 - 3 weeks the rest... You sent us the $100.00 for for a $220.00 light.

We promissed You the light, that we will send you and pay for it as you can. We shiped you the light on goodwill, that you will pay us as you can. So we will watch when we get the rest.

They were priority shipments that was important and in the mean time we still did not received any other payment from you.

That we shiped the god we have the documents and on top of it you us for the shipping that you can see it on the packege.

AS of now all the orders were shipped except for the 3 inch reflector that we are perfecting it.

So next time state the facts and do not twist it around!!!

All others that voiced their opinions are about in the same category as he is as you have to hear both side of the stories.

As to the sales on the Forum we had few sales and they do not make a difference.

And you acussing us of fraud: "go and speak to you mama and ask hear to raise you to tale the thruth... always."

You posted some links that have incorrect info.

When it comes to my inventions there are some:
The Goncz Hi-Tech weapons, manufactured by my Company and was used in combat and in TOTAL RECALL, Arnolds and Sharons gun, (look for credits)
Assasins Sylvester Stallone and Antonio Bandera, Planet of the Apes with Charlton Heston and many others Soul 007, Action Jackson and many more...

The Original Goncz are sold on the actions for up of 5 to 7,000.00 each.

This was just to correct some of the info was posted.

More strangeness. This is from the website showing his pistol. This pistol has a striking similarity to other guns made around the 80's, like the AP-9. He mentions here he is making a "new" pistol with improvements that aren't exactly earth shattering. It's the tone that seals the deal for me. I am an engineer and also an inventor. I would like to see some patent numbers so I can do some research. This gun looks like nothing more than something cobbled together from existing weapons. Here is the text of his statement, typos are his:

Subject: Goncz Hi-Tech Weapons

Dear Sir,
Just some clarification in your statement as to the Goncz / Claridge
The Goncz was invented, designed and produced by Me.

There was a business transaction where they bought 50% of
the business and ones they got access to the technical data
they thought they are in the driver seat started a new company
by Claridge Hi-Tech and tried to take over the entire operation
and renamed the firearms they produced as Claridge. They even
claimed it that they invented it. (Gail Claridge an interior decorator,
and her husband Joe an ex policeman, who did not know what a reamer
is.) Before they came into the picture the weapons were in production
and they were sold and now they are as a collector items valued
between 5 and $15,000 each.

You stating that they improved on it is false and misstatement.
The facts are what they produced it is f!@#$%^& garbage and a
dangerous firearm by adding the bolt/hold back part, which as you
releasing the bolt, chances are that the firing pin is release and fires
the chambered cartridge...

They never had the tooling for the magazines double row, double feed
19 round, they provided a single double row single feed magazine
that they bought as a after market cheep magazines.
The receiver the Goncz are made of 4130 alloy, machined out of a
solid piece. top quality bears my name. They guns have a cheap
duct pipe receiver with silver soldered plug to hold the barrel.
After the litigation of Patent infringements, intellectual property
misuse and Fraud in the U.S. Federal court I put them out
business....the mother !@#$%^&*(.s'

These are the facts and you may post this info on your Web Page...
Additional info is that we are working on the New Goncz Hi-Tech, Gen. II.
and soon will be on the market complying to the new laws. Some features:
Safety on both sides, last shot: bolt stays open, magazine release on both sides
and a lighter polymer grip. Let me let you in on a secret, they will be also chambered
for the Belgium 5.4 mm x 28 cartridge.

If you want to be posted on the advancement keep in touch.

Cordially,
Lajos John Goncz

Bart. and Light Headed, look at the top of the weapon. The bottom is just polymer, all he had to do was move the top end of a Tec 9 or AP 9 reward so it would feed through the pistol grip. You don't want a pistol to hang over that far behind the pistol grip because you have to change your hand position if the pistol is below your shoulder. That is why simple blow back 9mm's are not made this way. A problem anyone would spot, unless you were just to modify an existing weapons platform. According to this source only a few prototypes were made. Movie prop masters modify existing weapons all the time to make them look futuristic.

As for hot air, I think you have provided plenty Mr. Goncz. I don't understand how a genius of your apparent ability can't spell, maybe that is why so many of your orders haven't been delivered. As for facts, well how about some patent numbers? Or a FFL number? Or just your phone number so these guys could get in touch with you.

I've watched these threads for a while now. In the beginning, hoping for a better mousetrap, er,,,light. I'm always looking for a better, cheaper light. When they shipped and started being tested, it sounded interesting. As problems arose, it got less interesting. Now, facts, lies, or whatever not withstanding, I won't buy one. It could turn out to be the best light I have ever seen and I still wouldn't. I can't fathom why a dealer would berate someone so harshly in an open forum like this. That is not the customer service to build a business on.

I suppose all of this is very obvious and I've said nothing new, but if you want a long term, profitable business, you need to change your tone when working with your customers!

bigcozy,

The picture speack for itself.

The first Goncz Hi-Tech pistol was made in 1984 the compared gun was produced about 1994 or so.
Borrowing something from 10 years ahead would be dificult but in your world maybe possible.

I can state for the facts that part and others were borowed from my designs.

The Goncz Hi-Tech weapons were featured on 7 front covers and all other books in and was revied in 8 languages.

As to the speling so what? I speak 6 languages and in english I make mistakes.

As you describing the gun designs it reflects that you have no idea about gun designs.

You have patents, let us hear What?

I am not sure to whom or what you are referring to Mr. Goncz, but since I was just referring in another thread to your flyer that states you are a world-renowned designer of hi-tech medical equipment, I hope you don't mind elaborating a bit and informing us of some of your medical equipment designs, where and how they are used, and the source of the renown if you will. I would like to add that this is the first communication between us, and I don't think I have participated in any of your threads.

Thanks,

Ok..now I'm temporarily out of my "special dark place" images/icons/wink.gif ...What's going on here? Why must the individuals perpetuate this narration? Sounds like a lot of rock throwing & name calling going on? Am I mistaken? Do I have a misconception of this thread?

Mr. Goncz do you owe product or monies to any of the members here? If so, then can it be settled in a professional business type manner? If not, have you explained to the individuals who feel "harmed" why you don't owe them reparation?

If any member here feels they have been "ripped off", have all the details been presented to Mr. Goncz? If so and if he has not made reparations, then perhaps other legal steps need to be taken?

Ok..sorry if you feel I have no say in this, however this a public forum and "name calling" can be done in private. Perhaps everyone needs a "private room" to conduct this in?

I feel it should be public if a vendor or member is perhaps less than honest and others need to know so they too don't suffer through the same events.

Comments? Forgive me if I don't get further involved. I'm not meaning to "step on anyone's toes" at all...I'll just avoid this thread in the future (honest!). images/icons/wink.gif
